How to clean and protect a marble floor;

Marble is a metamorphic stone mainly made up of calcium carbonate, with different structural and chromatic features. Its color depends on the presence of clay, sand or iron oxide in the original stone. In its many variants and shades, marble, can be used as cladding for floors and walls or also for realizing wonderful art works.

It is resistant to hits and scrapings, it is also a very porous material and it is sensitive to stains and acids. For this reason it is important to do a daily maintenance using specific products.


EXTRAORDINARY CLEANING OF A MARBLE FLOOR


In case of stubborn stains, resistant to the common detergents, Camp suggests the strong concentrated detergent Alcadet. The product is ideal for a deep cleaning, every 30-60 days. It rapidly removes also the stubborn and deep stains, in particular on the porous floors. It revitalizes the original color of the marble and it doesn’t need to be rinsed later. We suggest a dilution of the product with water from 1:10 up to 1:50.

ORDINARY CLEANING OF A MARBLE FLOOR


Every day, for sanitizing and deterging a marble floor, we suggest the use of the a detergent Pavilux Marble Granite and Porcelanic gres. The product, not only  has a sanitizing action, but it also removes footprints and it releases a pleasant smell in the room.

In order to complete the treatment, Camp has formulated a high resistant auto-polishing wax specific for marble floors: Ceralux Marble. It revitalizes the surfaces giving them shininess, intensifying also its features and natural colors.

It has an efficient protective, anti-slip, anti-scratch and anti-wear action.
