PGP DRYPROOF MASONRY WATERBASED WATERPROOFER is a highly effective ready to use waterproofing paint for masonry walls. Based on a unique waterbased formula of carboxylated styrene acrylate resins, exhibits excellent waterproofing properties even when negative hydrostatic pressure is present. It is suitable for interior and exterior use above or below ground level.

APPLICATIONS

DRYPROOF MASONRY WATERBASED WATERPROOFER is suitable for waterproofing:

• Basement walls and foundations
• Swimming pools and fountains
• Roof tops
• Water tanks and drainage
• Drive ways and garages
• Exposed walls
• Most common masonry surfaces such as cement, mortar, concrete blocks etc.

Substrate preparation

1. Surfaces must be clean from dirt, dust, grease, oil, frost and paint.
2. Patch holes or cracks with hydraulic cement and smooth the patch evenly.
3. Check the joint where the floor and wall meet and fill any breaks with fast setting hydraulic cement.
4. Efflorescence, a white, powdery, crystal-like deposit visible on the masonry surface must be removed with PGP CLEAN & FREE (consult manufacturer’s directions).

Application

1. Stir material thoroughly before and during application. Do not thin.
2. Apply PGP DRYPROOF MASONRY WATERBASED WATERPROOFER in two coats with brush, roller or spray.
3. For best results apply the first coat by brush, working the material into surface pores. Allow 12 hours drying time between coats.
4. The second coat may be applied by brush, roller or spray.
5. If leaking is still present after two coats, it indicates that pores or pin holes are still open. Paint these areas again.
6. When painting the inside of concrete fish ponds and non-potable water tanks, allow PGP DRYPROOF MASONRY WATERBASED WATERPROOFER to dry at least one week, fill with water for 48 hours, then drain and refill to control alkalinity content before putting into service.
7. Apply when air and surfaces temperatures are above 10^oC.
8. For best waterproofing results, wait for a dry (rain-free) period before and after application.

WARNING: For best results apply to unpainted cementitious substrates.
