CONSTRUCT SET 1KG MERCOLA (Pure unsaturated, pre-accelerated 2 component liquid polyester resin)
CONSTRUCT s a two component thixotropic liquid polyester resin suitable for constructions and fabrications. It offers excellent adhesion properties, high strength and elasticity. It is easily applied, dries fast, does not shrink and it is easily sanded. Can be used on its own or with glass fiber mat.

Surface preparation
New surfaces: the substrate should be dry and free of dust, chalk, grease and all foreign material, which would affect adhesion. Lightly roughen surface with sandpaper
Previously treated surfaces: It is important to remove any rust, peeling or unsound surfaces followed by sanding washing and rinsing. Dust and dirt must be removed by scrubbing with warm soapy water and rinsed with fresh water. Fill cavities with polyester putties MULTI FILLER or PLASTIC METAL.
Application
- Apply one coat of CONSTRUCT, thoroughly mixed with 2% - 3% catalyst, using a brush or roller.
- Let the coat firm and then apply the glass fibre.
- Apply a second coat of CONSTRUCT applying pressure in order to avoid the closure of bubbles and achieve a solid body.
- If a thicker layer is required repeat the procedure.
WARNING
- Do not use more than 2 - 3% of catalyst especially at high temperatures as curing can be greatly accelerated.
- Mix just the required amount of catalyst each time in order to avoid hardening before application.
- Close lids well after use.
